Andree Martinez

Andree is a Mexican American born in El Paso. Her family is one that is awash in entertainment genes. From the time she was a kid growing up, she was around television show hosts, including her sister Karla Martinez (Host of Univision's Despierta America! Since she was a child the family of her mother was surrounded by television show hosts such as Karla Martinez (Host of the Univision show Despierta America! Andrew Martinez is vice president of Safety Security and Business Resiliency at Southern California Edison (SCE) which is one of the biggest electric utilities in America. He oversees the organization's activities and programs that focus on safety of workers, company security and resilience that are the top priorities for SCE. Martinez provides safety managers with their mentorship and training programs that they need to achieve workgroup objectives in safety. Martinez was the director for Safety Training and Compliance in Transmission & Distribution for SCE prior to his current post. Prior to that, he served as Director of Safety and Compliance for Power Supply and Operational Services. Over the course of his thirty years at SCE Martinez has held several senior positions within corrective action and improvement initiatives, including posts at the San Onofre Nuclear Generating Station (SONGS) focused on protecting employees and the public from risks.
